JABA and OPAL represent a high-luxury venture in Yanbu, covering an area of 80,000 square metres. Designed to transform Yanbu into a prestige destination, this development will include iconic projects such as:

  • Beach Escape: A luxury hotel with a refined lifestyle.
  • Marine Visitor Centre: A hub for marine activities and community gathering.
  • Kaynuna Beach Club: A vibrant cultural and social landmark

In detail:

  • OPAL (Luxury Diving Centre): is a diving centre that combines the thrill of underwater exploration with a luxury experience. The name ‘Opal’ evokes the beauty and vibrancy of coral reefs, symbolising a unique experience exploring the depths of the sea. OPAL is not only a diving centre, but also an educational centre dedicated to the conservation of the marine ecosystem. With a team of global instructors and state-of-the-art equipment, OPAL offers experiences for all levels of divers, from beginner to advanced diving.
  • JABA (Destination Management Company): is the guide that opens the door to discovering the beauty of Yanbu and its surroundings, creating authentic and adventurous experiences. The name Jaba (meaning ‘roaming’ in Arabic) expresses the idea of travelling freely and without boundaries, always seeking new emotions and discoveries. JABA offers a wide range of activities, from hiking in the spectacular desert lands, to paragliding, stargazing with Bedouin stories, and immersive tours to local islands and Saudi culture. Offering everything from treks to cultural experiences, JABA guides visitors to discover hidden gems and breathtaking vistas.

Smart Goals:

Our approach allowed the transformation of an ambitious concept into a tangible reality through:

  • Creating the brand identity for the Diving Centre and the DMC
  • Definition of the guest experience, aligned with the values of the project.
  • Development of the digital and traditional communication strategy..

We led the entire creative process, working closely with the company and its European and Saudi contacts to ensure a coherent and impactful narrative.

Phase 1: Branding Strategy & Identity Development

  • Conducted introductory meetings to define the Diving Center and Tour Operator brand strategy.
  • Preliminary analysis on the Saudi cultural background, buyer personas, target audience, vision and mission of the project
  • Established the branding direction, presenting three creative proposals.
  • Developed the Brand Book, outlining vision, mission, and core values.
  • Proposed naming solutions in both European and Arabic styles.
  • Designed logos and visual identity, tailored for different target audiences.

Phase 2: Guest Experience & Corporate Identity

  • Developed and presented the Guest Experience Strategy, aligned with the brand vision.
